KadeFlora® lactic acid treatment
The KadeFlora lactic acid treatment comes in seven individually packaged disposable applicators designed for vaginal use
- A 7-day treatment to regenerate and stabilise the vaginal flora and restore the naturally acidic milieu
- A 7-day treatment for bacterial vaginosis (for mild symptoms or as a supplement to antibiotic treatment)
- To maintain the natural balance if you are prone to bacterial vaginosis or urinary tract infections, apply for 2-3 days after each menstruation or per month using a new applicator each day.
Preferably use before bedtime, although it can also be applied at other times of the day. If necessary use a panty liner.
Avoid use during menstruation as optimal effectiveness may not be achieved at this time.
Can also be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
- Remove the applicator from the packaging
- Swing it downwards several times to collect the gel at the tip of the applicator
- Unscrew the cap without kinking or pulling
- Apply at bedtime in a seated position or on your back with your legs slightly bent
- For easier insertion, squeeze out a small amount of gel and spread it over the tip of the applicator
- Insert the applicator gently into the vagina
- Press firmly on the gel reservoir (thickened end) with your thumb and index finger while slowly pulling the applicator out of the vagina
- Discard the applicator with the remaining gel
The applicators are designed for one-time use. There is no experience regarding the extent to which the product changes adversely after repeated use.
Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of the product. If you experience intolerance reactions, please consult a physician.
A mild burning sensation may be experienced initially, which is caused by the changed vaginal milieu and the associated increase in sensitivity.
Avoid using concurrently with other vaginal preparations, as their effects may interfere with each other.
Direct contact may compromise the tear resistance of condoms and condom safety cannot be assured.
If a pregnancy is desired, please note that the motility of the sperm may be impaired. The gel is, however, not suitable for contraception.
Localised complaints, such as itching, burning and redness, have been reported in some cases of gel usage.
(S)-lactic acid, benzyl alcohol, glycerol, hydroxyethyl cellulose, sodium lactate solution, propylene glycol, purified water
Does not require refrigerated storage. Do not use after the expiry date stated on the packaging (refers to the last day of the month).
